Description
Colored in this [link] drawing by for his challenge.
I wanted it to be plausible from the start, and with the beauty of the original lineart it was easy to find a "natural" look. I searched pictures of cassowaries and other helmeted modern birds, and the color scheme practically chose itself. I noticed that helmeted birds generally have bright face coloration, and that bright face displays are often linked with cryptic body feathers, and thought I could incorporate both of those. I just changed the linework on the face somewhat to be less feathery. The color of the beak prongs bothered me because I don't know of any parallel in modern birds, but I think I'm satisfied with the result.

Why don't you try to invent a color scheme instad of use an existing one? But yes, these colors are really good for an Oviraptorid.
